And then there’s Deion Sanders.

We’ve spoken about him before – here.

The way he speaks, his passion for his chosen cause (young people and young Afircan American men) and his unflinching rebel attitude towards the conventions of faking it when speaking to the media is AWESOME!

The term ‘real’ or ‘keeping it real’ is so overused today – it’s beginning to lose its meaning.

But if you have time to watch this interview – you will see the reasons why despite the fact that Deion Sanders should be an over the hill, tv analyst..he’s probably the most loved personality not named Obama in America.

Sanders is facing an enquiry about his association with several colleage athletes in the US. There are strict rules about the types of help student athletes can receive and Sanders’ high profile status makes this a hot story in the US.

But you don’t need to know any of that to appreciate the most refreshing interview I have seen in a long time.

In fact – I’ll say it…I think he’s more loved than Obama simply because he’s ‘realer’.
