It has been a while since we have had a good tattoo post, so it’s certainly time for another one. The last tattoo post was about the brilliantly executed short-film by Evan Dennis for the “New York Adorned” tattoo shop. If you didn’t see it, you really missed out on something, check it out here.

This time it’s a little different. In the following documentary trilogy we are following the extremely talented tattoo artist Troy Denning, who has his own shop in NY. The people behind the documentary series is clothing/cap brand “New Era”, who has done this trilogy series with several interesting tattoo artists. If you’re a tattoo fan I’m sure you’ll find it interesting, and if you’re not… You might become one.

The trilogy is separated in three episodes, which covers the interesting life of Troy Denning, and to be honest, after watching them I actually feel like I know him! We get his insides, secrets, stories and we get to experience him, not only through himself, but also through his friends, colleagues etc.
Take some time out, watch the three episodes and be inspired by this creative person who doesn’t seem to give a F*CK about what people think or say about him.

Watching self-made creative individuals and get a piece of their thoughts is always interesting, inspiring and teaching, and watching guys like him always motivates me to chase my goals and do what I feel like doing.
